We had doubts about this simple solution working. Our adopted cat (we think he suffered brain damage in his past life) would bite and scratch us unprovoked and even ran at us and body slam us! One second he would be friendly and then bam! We are older and we have had cats our whole lives so this experience has been challenging to say the least. After 4 months, and for the first time ever we considered taking him back to the shelter. Someone mentioned Feliway. It was our last ditch effort. It has been 3 days and he is absolutely calmer. The biting scratching and hissing has stopped. We have high hopes for the future. Thank you so much!
