4. Replace the refill every 30 days to maintain optimal results.
5. Replace the diffuser head every 6 months.

How does FELIWAY® MultiCat work?

FELIWAY® MultiCat works by transmitting special "harmony messages" that
help to restore harmony between cats living in the same household. These
“harmony messages” replicate the natural messages that mother cats send to their kittens, known as pheromones. When these messages are released in a cat’s
mammary glands, they help to ensure that kittens are able to bond together.

How long does it take FELIWAY® MultiCat to work?

Many cat owners start to see results within the first seven days of using FELIWAY® MultiCat. However, all cats are unique, and the first signs of improvement may come later depending on the duration and severity of the conflict between your cats. We recommend that you use FELIWAY® MultiCat for at least one month to see the best results.

How long should I use FELIWAY® MultiCat for?

Cats living together will benefit most from FELIWAY® MultiCat when it is used
continuously in the home. This will allow harmony in your home and help to
reduce tension, conflicts, and fights. The minimum recommended use for FELIWAY® MultiCat is one month.

When should I use FELIWAY® MultiCat?

FELIWAY® MultiCat should be used when:

You have two or more cats living together who show signs of tension, such as chasing, blocking, or staring.
You have two or more cats living together who are fighting, even if this has been going on for some time.

Where should I use FELIWAY® MultiCat?

FELIWAY® MultiCat should be used in the room where your cats spend the most time. If this is different for each cat, you may need to use multiple diffusers. For the best results, plug the FELIWAY® MultiCat diffuser into a properly functioning electrical socket that has clear space above it of at least 4ft (1.2m).

When will FELIWAY® MultiCat not work?

FELIWAY® MultiCat is not the correct solution if:

Your cats do not have access to an individual food bowl and litter tray, as competition will not resolve and tensions may increase (it’s recommended, however, that each cat has their own space, including their own food bowl and litter tray).
There is tension or even aggression towards a cat’s humans. In these situations, we recommend that you consult your vet or an animal behaviorist.
The conflict between your cats is accompanied by urine spraying or scratching inside your home. If your cat is showing these signs of discomfort, we recommend using FELIWAY® Optimum.

"I was very doubtful! My two boys have had to adjust to a girl foster kitten and I needed help with all 3 as we try to make it work long term. I plugged in the multi cat household pheromone devices. Barely three days later my boys are stretched out, on their backs, legs up and content. Lily kitten is much more relaxed, still hissing and adjusting to bigger felines and learning how to play nicely with the big boys! These devices work!! If they all get “too relaxed” and kinda zoned out, I just unplug for a few days so they can feel more normal…. It works for us! Good luck!"
