"I, unfortunately, am dealing with two cats who got scared by a loud sound and experienced redirected aggression. I don't wish that on anyone, but a slow reintro is how it has to be managed. The multicat seems to take some of the edge off during this period. I tried the Optimum and it just wasn't right for my cats in particular, but, when I switched back to the Multi, it seemed to work better. Every cat and situation is different. It does have an odd plastic smell at first, but that goes away after a couple of days."
